Programming in C, C++, Pascal and Visual Basic

Fluent in Italian, Spanish and French. Completed four semesters of Japanese language

Quinstreet.com

Localizing web based Internet commerce application to Italian language. Using Macromedia's Firework to edit and internationalize images. Translating Web-Management Utility applications to Italian. Performing QA on web based applications.

Hewlett Packard Internationalization QA Testing

Setup tests for internationalized ISP software in European languages and Japanese. Tested Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish applications in their respective OS. Troubleshot applications malfunctions and write detailed test reports.

Cirrus Logic Internationalization Project

Designed several GUIs for graphic utilities used by Cirrus Logic video cards. The outstanding achievement that Cirrus Logic Marketing Department liked was the GUI capability of switching its language to any of the following: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Swedish, and Japanese.

These GUIs were designed using Microsoft C++ version 1.5 (English) and Microsoft C++ version 1.0 (Japanese). I used the Microsoft Appstudio and the RC resource compiler to develop the dialog system boxes. I also designed an outstanding Graphic Help system in all those languages.

Converting application to extended mode and porting them to 16 bits (double‑byte) through Unicode was also done as part of the internationalization project.

Network General Internationalization Project

Localization in Italian and French of network management software running on Sun workstations in a Solaris UNIX operating system. Research and installation of an automated language translation system for MS Windows and MS DOS.

Quintus Internationalization Project

Internationalizing help‑desk software written in Visual Basic. The major challenge was that half of the code that created the Visual Basic program was generated automatically by software written in C and Visual basic. The program had more than 100,000 lines of code.
